Steph Curry spent his first 4 years in NBA with Nike. Nike Originally offered Curry a deal worth $2.5 Million per year. The first Nike shoe they initially settled on was the
Nike Zoom Brave V which is the same signature shoe as Tony Parker which was also being worn by Portland's Wesley Matthews during that time. Curry, Parker & Wesley were set to have the same shoes but Curry said that they are lower & wider than what he is used to which are Hyperdunks and Lunar Hypergamers. Nike headquarters analyzed more data and features that will fit Curry's style and they finally came up with the Nike Hyperfuse 2010 'Steph Curry PE' (Player's exclusive).

In 2014 to 2015, Under Armour offered Curry less than $4 million which Nike did not match. Curry's impact to Under Armour business has been profound. In fact, Under Armour was valued at a little over $14 Billion prior to Curry's UA contract. If Curry will continue his streak, the difference in the market capitalization value could be approximately $14 BIllion which will make Under Armour value at $28 Billion. (That's according to Business Insider in April 2016). 
That makes Steph Curry's statement true that he built the company (Referring to Under Armour) during an interview regarding KD's comments on UA shoes.

 Prior to Curry One release, Curry is wearing an Under Armour Clutchfit drive PE .

In February 2015, Curry One was released. The release of Curry one skyrocketed the Under Armour's revenue by 30% for the first quarter, which is at $1.05 Billion, beating the analyst's estimate of $1.02 Billion.

The brand struggled after the Curry 3 (released on Oct 2016) failed to gain traction.  Under Armour is now looking for the new shoe to drive sales & attention. Curry 4 was set to release in October 2017 but after selling through preorder stock on underarmour.com, the shoe will not ship until November 18, analyst Sam Poser of Susquehanna Financial Group wrote in a report to investors.

Under Armour will also release UA Curry Golf Shoes.
